Customers approve the scope and amount before payment. Changes require approval. Receipts are itemized. Mandatory cancellation and refund rights always control.
01 Platform payments
Platform-originated jobs use the approved payment system unless Fixerly authorizes another method. Users may not move a transaction off Platform to evade disclosed fees or safeguards. Payment providers operate under separate terms.
02 Authorization and itemization
A valid payment method may be verified and authorized for accepted labor, estimated materials, disclosed Platform fees, taxes, and approved changes. The Customer receives an itemized record separating labor or fixed service price, materials and expenses, Platform fees, taxes, cancellation charges, tips, adjustments, refunds, and payout status as applicable.
03 Changes and materials
A Fixer may not materially increase Customer-authorized pricing without a recorded approval. Material charges must be reasonably related to the job and supported by receipts where required. A reauthorization may be required before additional chargeable work begins.
04 Tips
Tips are voluntary, not a substitute for agreed compensation, and intended for the designated Fixer subject to legally required corrections or provider adjustments.
05 Customer cancellation more than 24 hours before start
Fixerly does not currently impose a Platform cancellation fee when a Customer cancels more than 24 hours before the scheduled start. Authorized nonreturnable or special-order materials, restocking costs, irrevocably incurred third-party expenses, and other legally owed amounts may remain due.
06 Late cancellation and no access
Within 24 hours, a clearly displayed late-cancellation charge may apply only after counsel approves the amount and cap. A no-access event may be treated under that approved cap only after documented arrival, reasonable contact attempts, and the required wait period. No fee is created when the Fixer cancels.
07 Started or partially completed work
Payment or refund decisions may consider documented labor, approved materials, usable benefit, defects, unauthorized work, abandonment, safety, and applicable law. Users should promptly preserve messages, photographs, receipts, and other relevant evidence.
08 Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks
Fixerly or its providers may issue credits or refunds, hold or reverse payout, apply reserves, and respond to payment disputes under Platform policy and provider rules. Users may not submit knowingly false disputes or duplicate recoveries. Nothing limits a non-waivable payment right.
09 Statutory cancellation rights
Mandatory cancellation rights control over this policy, including any applicable Alaska home-solicitation right. The exact trigger analysis and legally required notice must be approved by counsel and presented within the job contract when applicable.
10 Pending approvals
The late-cancellation amount and cap, no-access charge, refund matrix, Stripe Connect allocation, reserves, chargebacks, tips, stored-funds analysis, tax handling, and virtual-card terms require attorney and payment-provider approval before live-money launch.
