A job is available only when the category, project value, location, credentials, permits, and safety conditions are appropriate. Emergencies are not dispatched as ordinary marketplace jobs.
01 Category and credential gates
Fixerly may list only categories approved for the launch market. Availability depends on current category rules, project value, location, credential type and status, expiration, bond or insurance requirements, permits, hazards, emergency indicators, and Operations review. Credential expiration or suspension disables dependent categories.
02 Alaska handyman aggregate limit
A project performed under Alaska handyman contractor registration may not exceed the legally applicable aggregate contract limit. The aggregate includes labor, materials, and other project items. Related work may not be split across jobs, invoices, accounts, parties, or change orders to evade higher licensing, registration, bonding, or insurance requirements.
03 Regulated work
Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-protection, structural, engineering, architectural, environmental-remediation, pesticide, locksmith, and other regulated work is prohibited unless the exact category is enabled and the Fixer has every required current credential and legal authority. Cosmetic descriptions may not disguise regulated work.
04 Always-restricted services
Fixerly does not permit illegal surveillance, weapons services, controlled substances, unlawful eviction, violent or discriminatory conduct, work intended to defeat safety devices, fraud, hazardous-material handling outside an approved program, or any service prohibited by law or Platform policy.
05 Emergency routing
Potential gas leaks, active fire, carbon-monoxide danger, active flooding near electricity, exposed live electrical conditions, structural collapse, medical emergencies, violence, crime in progress, and similar imminent threats are not ordinary jobs. Users should contact 911, the utility, fire department, police, or the appropriate emergency or licensed provider.
06 Permits and contractor information
The Fixer remains responsible for determining and obtaining required permits and displaying contractor name, registration or license number, business and address information where law requires. Fixerly may require and display that information as a condition of category access.
07 Operations escalation
Fixerly may pause ambiguous or high-risk requests, request clarification or documents, route to differently qualified providers, restrict an account or category, and preserve the decision record. A user must not bypass an Operations hold by opening another job or account.
08 Pending Alaska review
The final category-to-license mapping, contractor advertising and identification requirements, permit triggers, restricted list, emergency taxonomy, related-project logic, and precise customer notices require review by Alaska construction counsel and Operations.
